"¡Hola! My name is Romina and I'm from La Plata, the capital of Buenos Aires province in Argentina.
I am a qualified teacher with a certificate in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Instituto Cervantes and Roehampton University. I also have a degree in Psychology and have worked in the field of education for many years.
I think the best way to learn a language is through communicating and interacting from the start. I love making my lessons enjoyable and creative, using different activities and resources, while sharing aspects of my culture in the process. I find seeing the progress of my students very rewarding as they become more confident using the language in practical situations.
I am looking forward to meeting you at Vamos!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part one of the Intermediate B1 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

This program really helped to improve my Spanish, I enjoyed and didn’t realise how time passed quickly during the class. Muchas gracias Patricia. 🙂
Well I like this program that is why I am going to continue 🙂
The self-assessment on the website was very useful in helping to determine which level to start at. Andi is a great teacher, keeps the lessons at a pace everyone can follow and ensures that everyone understands the topic before continuing.
Great experience! The teaching was particularly my favourite because it wasn’t too structured. It’s rare to have a course that’s so conversational , so it’s good to actually practice speaking.
I really had a great time learning. Ines was such a good teacher, helped when we needed more help, + was understanding if something needed more reviewing. I couldn’t speak any Spanish when I started + now I could have an easy + general conversation. I’m really happy I will be back for the next levels!
Very enjoyable. Good fun!
Andi is a fantastic teacher with great patience, charisma and very supportive!
The classes are fun, well structured and fulfilling. You get to meet different people with the same mind frame which enhances your learning.
If you’re going to learn Spanish in London definitely choose Vamos! You’re in safe hands 🙂
All classroom teaching was well planned, there were lots of different activities; very good. The e-mail of the class activities is very useful.
Paula is always very happy and encourages us all to talk a lot and move around which is great as I wanted to gain more confidence in my speaking, which I now have. The conversation classes every month are good, as is the chance to have tapas.
