We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part one of the Intermediate B1 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Getting more difficult in level 3. Need to keep reviewing what we learnt moving forward. Amaya is excellent!
A really good program – The pace is picking up and it is becoming challenging! I’ve really enjoyed the lessons. I’m pleased we were able to buy a book to read at the level we have.
Alberto has been really good, I have learnt a lot and he is a great teacher. He takes his time and makes sure everyone feels comfortable.
I’ve been studying Spanish for over a decade now, throughout my school years and whilst at university, but I can, without doubt, say that the time that I’ve spent at Vamos has been the most beneficial for me on my Spanish-learning journey.
I started my lessons here nearly a year ago with Paula Granados as a teacher and have continued with her as my teacher for a number of levels. She has been by far the best language teacher I have EVER had because you can really tell how much she loves to teach and help her students feel comfortable and confident in her classes.
My time at Vamos has taken my Spanish language to the next level, not only in terms of vocabulary and grammar but most importantly, in terms of confidence. I no longer have the crippling fear of talking and making mistakes in front of others that I used to experience during my time as school/university. Every class/activity I have taken here has such a welcoming and compassionate vibe where students feel free to express themselves without fear of making mistakes, as it should be whenever someone is learning a new skill.
I’m forever grateful that I came across Vamos (and Paula!) and my only regret is that I didn’t come across it sooner!!
Through each level you go through, your understanding of Spanish improves and increases due to the techniques used to help understand the new words and topics you learn.
Very good. A good variety of activities and Enric is very friendly, lively and encouraging. And he always marked homework and gave extremely helpful feedback. Thank you Enric!
The course has been very good and we have covered a lot in 10 weeks. The pace of the course is good and and enough time is spent on each topic. I like the integration of all topics by the end – eg. not just learning a subject, then moving on and forgetting it. Andrea is a great teacher!
Very good, well planned and not as I expected it may be. Carol taught the class very well and kept everything fresh and lively
Engaging way of seeking to immerse you in Spanish whilst also ensuring you’re able to understand what is going on.
