"¡Hola! My name is David and I'm from Zaragoza, a mid-sized city in North East Spain.
I am a Philosophy graduate from the University of Zaragoza, and I have a SIELE Teacher Course Certificate from Instituto Cervantes.
I spent some years of my apprenticeship in Oxford and Budapest and became a teacher of Spanish as a second language three years ago, first in my hometown and now in London.
In addition to Spanish language and culture, I am passionate about music, cinema, football and literature and I love to connect with my students and make our classes even more in engaging.
See you in class! ¡Nos vemos en clase!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part one of the Intermediate B1 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Courses are great fun. Adela is an amazing teacher. I really enjoyed learning a new language in such a relaxing and amusing way. Keep up the good work.
The course is very well taught and Andrea adapts to the size and nature of the class. In every instance Andrea is extremely approachable with questions and is keen to ensure all students get a great feel for Spanish language and culture. An absolute joy to come to class!
The program was very informative. Helped me learn a language from scratch. Alejandro was very patient with us and I found he knew what he was doing. Also, we enjoyed ourselves in class.
Another really good course. Very enjoyable and lots of fun. Although difficult at times its always surprising how much I have learnt by the end. Looking forward to the next one.
I have really enjoyed the lessons. Diana is a friendly teacher who makes the class fun. I feel we have covered a lot of work in 10 classes and I really liked my group.
The class continues to be challenging but great fun. Level 2 has continued the learning set up in the first level and grown my understanding and vocabulary. Amaya is great, very patient and takes plenty of time to review our understanding.
Sara is great and is the reason I would continue Spanish and not give up!
Met my objectives. Clearly improved my language skills. Aixa was really patient and teaches everything clearly. So it was easy to follow. Looking forward to the next level.
It’s been a very good course. Diana’s teaching has been excellent and I’ve enjoyed the classes. I would highly recommend the course. Muchas gracias!
