"¡Hola a todos! I'm Victoria from Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain.
I have a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language, which I obtained at the University of Oviedo. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching obtained at the University of Salamanca.
I have taught Spanish for several years in China, where I worked as an official DELE examiner for A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels at the Cervantes Institute.
I think learning a language is not only about memorising grammar or vocabulary, but enjoying it and having fun while you discover a new world. That's the reason I make communicative and enjoyable classes where students become confident in their skills and share their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Vamos and starting a new adventure together!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part three of the Elementary A2 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course with an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

I think this course has been really fantastic, it has taught me so much to get me going in the language. I tell all my friends about Vamos and although I won’t be able to afford the next level I hope to come back at some point!
Alba is an excellent teacher and her classes were fun and proactive. The booster course was a very good idea, definitely helped me improve grammar and listening.
Very much enjoyed my classes here, will certainly continue with Paula. She’s a great teacher, has a lot of patience, explains everything well (and if necessary repeatedly) and my dad says I have improved
Great activities to practice speaking more and to practice past tense, which is needed.
Great teacher and organization of school. Materials and support are great. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to learn Spanish.
Excellent programme – especially being able to do 2 classes a week. It felt like we learnt so quickly. Teaching is excellent too – lots of enthusiasm and great at making things stick in your mind.
Amaya is a great teacher she ensures that the lessons are fun, which ensures that we learn a lot as they are enjoyable. She plans the lessons based on the ability levels of the students to make sure that she gets the most out of us. I would highly recommend the class.
I have enjoyed the program as a whole. Generally, a great and supportive learning environment. Patricia is very patient and is great at re-capping and helping with problem areas.
Our teacher is the best, which is the most important thing for a class.
