"¡Hola! My name is David and I'm from Zaragoza, a mid-sized city in North East Spain.
I am a Philosophy graduate from the University of Zaragoza, and I have a SIELE Teacher Course Certificate from Instituto Cervantes.
I spent some years of my apprenticeship in Oxford and Budapest and became a teacher of Spanish as a second language three years ago, first in my hometown and now in London.
In addition to Spanish language and culture, I am passionate about music, cinema, football and literature and I love to connect with my students and make our classes even more in engaging.
See you in class! ¡Nos vemos en clase!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part three of the Elementary A2 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course with an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

I enjoyed the lesson and the interaction for all the classes I had attended.
More challenging than A1; Clara spoke faster with additional words previously uncovered, which was excellent practice! My listening skills have improved as a result. I enjoyed having more practice constructing sentences from scratch. The frequent mini-tests really helped me and prompted me to revise what we have covered. The summary posts in the emails are detailed and informative.
Diana was really helpful and approachable. It was a fun & interactive environment. Fast progression!
The program was very good and helped me improve my Spanish. It was a lot of fun.
As expected, the course delivered. After level 1 I feel that I am developing a certain level of language base. Noelia is brilliant, very bubbly, very good teaching style, encourages all the time, good feedback on homework.
Andrea is very good as well. We took the last two lessons with her and it feels that she revised everything we had learnt with Noelia. Perfect Revision
Very good. Minus the room is sometimes very hot!
Very good and intense, found some moments difficult but I have enjoyed the experience as a whole.
I have really enjoyed the programme and am surprised at how much I have learned. Maria is a very good teacher and makes the lessons very fun.
A really good class. The interactive nature of the lessons means you are always practising!!!
