"¡Hola a todos! I'm Victoria from Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain.
I have a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language, which I obtained at the University of Oviedo. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching obtained at the University of Salamanca.
I have taught Spanish for several years in China, where I worked as an official DELE examiner for A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels at the Cervantes Institute.
I think learning a language is not only about memorising grammar or vocabulary, but enjoying it and having fun while you discover a new world. That's the reason I make communicative and enjoyable classes where students become confident in their skills and share their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Vamos and starting a new adventure together!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part three of the Elementary A2 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course with an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Very engaging. Teaching was precise and supportive.
Andrea was very engaging and informative, providing a suitable balance of English and Spanish throughout the course. The class size was optimum also, as there was suitable opportunities to read in Spanish, speak the language, and ask necessary questions. All in all a solid foundation to build from a basic understanding of the language.
An enjoyable informal way to learn Spanish.
It was very good; Maria is a great teacher who made learning fun.
Enrique was amazing. Wish I could have stayed for level 2!
It’s a friendly and fun approach that allows you to learn and have fun. Best course I’ve ever attended! Thank you Carol!
I continued to make good progress in Spanish. Andi is a great teacher; lots of fun and she explains grammatical points very well. In particular, I like the fact that she speaks a lot of Spanish and explains new concepts in Spanish.
Tatiana created a warm environment and made learning Spanish accessible when I have previously found languages to be really hard. The activities and workbook aided the in-class work and I found the homework to be really helpful. Personally, I wish I could have been available for the conversation classes, as I think this would have been helpful.
Another fantastic level. Once again I am really happy with both the Vamos course and Patricia’s teaching.
I feel like I am learning a lot and with each lesson my knowledge is solidified more and more!
I will treasure my Diploma and can’t wait for A2
