"¡Hola! My name is David and I'm from Zaragoza, a mid-sized city in North East Spain.
I am a Philosophy graduate from the University of Zaragoza, and I have a SIELE Teacher Course Certificate from Instituto Cervantes.
I spent some years of my apprenticeship in Oxford and Budapest and became a teacher of Spanish as a second language three years ago, first in my hometown and now in London.
In addition to Spanish language and culture, I am passionate about music, cinema, football and literature and I love to connect with my students and make our classes even more in engaging.
See you in class! ¡Nos vemos en clase!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part three of the Elementary A2 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course with an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

The programme met my expectations and I really liked Carolina’s style of teaching which made me push myself to work harder.
I really enjoyed the programme! I have learnt lots and I am excited to practise my Spanish during my travels. Paloma is a great teacher! Thank you!
This was the most incredible weekend with memories which will last a lifetime! All in all a 5/5 rating is a real understatement and a testament to the way in which teaching Spanish should be done!
Maria is the best teacher, and I like learning Spanish at Vamos.
Alba is a fantastic teacher, very helpful and supportive, she explains things very well. I have really enjoyed this course.
The program was good and gave a chance to learn very important basic things. I would prefer less of games and quizzes and more of intense grammar topics, but maybe it is how it should be for the first level. I would also like more listening activities.
Super classes. Marina es muy agradable y me encanta el curso con ella.
Carolina has a very good approach. She is very patient and I will join the next level.
Bloody marvellous! It’s the first Spanish course that I’ve done that I’ve immediately wanted to follow up and continue with. It has rekindled my love of learning Spanish; The students were all well engaged and the teaching was pitched perfectly. I’ve already signed up for more!!!
