"¡Hola chicos! I am Paula, and I come from the wonderful city of Madrid!
I hold a BA (Hons) from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a postgraduate in teaching Spanish as a foreign language certified by Roehampton University and Instituto Cervantes. I completed my MA in September 2016 at Kings College London and I am also a PhD candidate at the Open University.
Since completing my degree, I have sought to keep increasing my knowledge of linguistics and communication. I fully appreciate the importance of learning a language and the value it brings to both job and leisure opportunities. For this reason I love teaching at Vamos and developing dynamic and communicative activities where everyone feels welcome and confident. I am also a firm supporter of introducing debate and different contents in the class, so that students can improve their language skills while discussing interesting and current topics.
I love working at Vamos because staff and students have both created a big family. Why don’t you come and join! See you soon at Vamos!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Elementary A2 syllabus. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Very impressed. Second course I have taken in Spanish and this one is far better. Better because of course content, speed of learning and the teacher. I will definitely be doing level 2.
Teaching was excellent, very informal and a good place to learn. Andi’s method was really fun but also well-structured which helped me to learn.
I found the program very good and the five weeks is great for learning fast. The class size was good with enough people. The ‘IT’ side of things needs work as I have had problems receiving email but a small issue.
Super classes. Marina es muy agradable y me encanta el curso con ella.
I really enjoyed the teaching style + the lesson structure: mixture of sitting + writing on our own, working in pairs + the conversation activities + quizzes.
I have really enjoyed the last 10 weeks. I feel I have made a great start to Spanish due to participating in the programme. Carolina is very helpful and welcoming.
I really enjoy every lesson. Everything is always very clear and seems easy to learn.
Maria is an excellent teacher, very lively and helpful.
Vamos continues to provide a relaxed, fun environment for learning Spanish. Clara is very prepared for class and has great patience. The 2 hour class passes quickly. The whole programme is well organised with great social activities in addition to regular class work.
