"¡Hola a todos! I'm Victoria from Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain.
I have a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language, which I obtained at the University of Oviedo. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching obtained at the University of Salamanca.
I have taught Spanish for several years in China, where I worked as an official DELE examiner for A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels at the Cervantes Institute.
I think learning a language is not only about memorising grammar or vocabulary, but enjoying it and having fun while you discover a new world. That's the reason I make communicative and enjoyable classes where students become confident in their skills and share their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Vamos and starting a new adventure together!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Elementary A2 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Good course with a high standard of teaching and a friendly atmosphere.
I like the programme – The teacher is great and my classes are a good bunch.
I have learnt a lot!!!
Aixa is great! She makes things very simple to understand. Thank you for being brilliant!
It was very fun and nice teacher. I really want to come back to Level 2.
I really enjoy having class with Sara. I think she is a really good teacher because she cares and puts a lot of thought into her lessons.
enjoyed the course very much. There’s a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of focus on conversation which is great. Carol is an excellent teacher ¡Estupendo!
Maria has been a fantastic teacher, always energetic and positive. The pace of the course is good. Very happy with Maria and the course overall and I will be coming back for level 2.
I really enjoyed this course. It was good to practice my Spanish and I feel like the level matched my abilities as well. The 2 hours flew by every week!
Mariluz is a great teacher who focuses on students’ gaps and she tries to make the most of it. Also the ideas and exercises she uploads on the website are really good and I like that she uploads videos and music video clips from YouTube.
