"¡Hola! My name is David and I'm from Zaragoza, a mid-sized city in North East Spain.
I am a Philosophy graduate from the University of Zaragoza, and I have a SIELE Teacher Course Certificate from Instituto Cervantes.
I spent some years of my apprenticeship in Oxford and Budapest and became a teacher of Spanish as a second language three years ago, first in my hometown and now in London.
In addition to Spanish language and culture, I am passionate about music, cinema, football and literature and I love to connect with my students and make our classes even more in engaging.
See you in class! ¡Nos vemos en clase!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part two of the Elementary A2 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Very good! The lessons are really fun as well as informative. Really friendly atmosphere and teaching style.
It was a shame to change teachers so early, but Andi has been very supportive and patient. I think the rate we are learning at is steady giving us time to get a good foundation. I am very keen to continue learning Spanish as I have enjoyed the class and really want to master the language.
Loved the course! Wish I had begun learning Spanish earlier as I am leaving London soon. Noelia is great, very organized and I feel I have learned a lot about the language and Spain in general in only ten weeks. I definitely think the course is great value and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you!
The service when I registered was excellent.
Elena was fantastic; she demonstrated enthusiasm, patience and insight, ensuring a positive learning environment. I really hope she can teach the second class.
Great class and very well taught. Definitely improving my Spanish throughout. God mix of interactive and ‘syllabus’ work. Definitely continuing to level 6!
It feels like a safe space to learn and ask questions. The activity book is very helpful and Sonia is friendly and knowledgeable.
I have enjoyed learning Spanish with Carol, who is an inspiring and fun teacher. The learning environment is fun and I have learnt a great deal in a short space of time. Overall an excellent course.
I thought it was a really good programme overall! Quite fast and intense at times after a full day’s work but enjoyed this challenge. I liked that the teacher was Spanish and gave most of the lessons in Spanish. She was also friendly and engaging.
Perfecto for me. Needed something light enough but still detailed.
