"Hola! Qué tal? I am Paula from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I have a degree from the University of Barcelona for teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have worked in language institutes and French International Schools in Dubai and Hong Kong and I like my lessons to be interesting, fun and practical!
Learning a new language has to adapt to your needs to communicate, so to me the most important is to get you speaking Spanish from day one. That’s why creating the right atmosphere in class is key for everyone to feel relaxed and willing to participate.
I look forward to having the opportunity to help you learn, not only the language but also some of the culture that comes along.
See you soon at Vamos!!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is the first course in our A2 Elementary levels 4-6.
It’s a 20 hour course aimed at students who have already completed A1 levels 1, 2 and 3. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Fun and effective way to learn Spanish. Our teacher knew his stuff and always explained things very well. The course material was quite good and wasn’t hard to grasp.
Really good. I am doing level 2 and this was a great way to for me to catch up from level 1. The teaching is great and there is a good mix of listening and speaking. Noelia makes it fun by introducing games, which really helps me to enjoy and learn.
Very nice course with a clear structure. Maria is super nice and patient and I look forward to starting A3 with her.
Enjoyable lessons, easy to follow teaching methods, like the online content and homework. Looking forward to level 2
Excellent. I’m amazed at how much I have learned, understood and can speak after this week long intensive. The size of the class was just right which enabled quality 1:1 interaction. Maria was very energetic, attentive and personable.
Sandra is an excellent teacher. I had a great time
I have really enjoyed the weekend in Asturias. It was fantastic to be part of a group on a learning based holiday. I learnt a lot and was able to practise my Spanish which was great. I really liked that there were fun activities arranged too, not just the Spanish classes. It was a great mix of both.
Quite intense, yet motivational and achievable. Proactive teaching, interactive and friendly.
It feels like a safe space to learn and ask questions. The activity book is very helpful and Sonia is friendly and knowledgeable.
