"іHola! I am Carla from Madrid.
I have a Degree in Spanish awarded by the Complutense University of Madrid, Master’s Degree in Spanish Language and a QTS in the UK. I am also qualified as a DELE B1/B2 examiner at the “Instituto Cervantes”.
For me, learning a language means much more than just being able to speak the language. It means travelling, working and meeting amazing people. Essentially it means broadening our knowledge and discovering the world. I am eager to share with you my love for learning a foreign language.
I have been teaching Spanish for the past three years in Spain, USA and now in England. Teaching is an amazing and rewarding experience and Vamos is a perfect place to do so!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is the first course in our A2 Elementary levels 4-6.
It’s a 20 hour course aimed at students who have already completed A1 levels 1, 2 and 3. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Finished level 4, still enjoying it and getting better at speaking and comprehension. I like Amaya as a person and wouldn’t want to change my teacher. I like her style of teaching. She is always speaking Spanish to us, which helps a lot to practice and develop language skills further.
The course is very fast-paced and challenging. In particular the verbs are difficult to grasp. However the course is enjoyable. Andrea and Russell are both very friendly and welcoming and would recommend the course to others.
The lessons are very interactive and enjoyable. Cristina is the best teacher! There are always new opportunities for extra learning – paella class, film class and conversation class.
Andrea is a young, vibrant teacher who makes the class interesting, interactive and enjoyable.
Even though I had missed a handful of lessons, the teaching was brilliant and so were the methods of teaching. The posts online were also useful. The programme as a whole has been a wonderful experience and I cannot wait to continue carrying on 🙂 Gracias!
I thought it was a fun way to learn Spanish and I look forward to the next level.
Very good. Comprehensive as it covered grammar, speaking, listening and some Spanish culture as it was taught by a native speaker who was a very good teacher!
Que esta bien, Clara es buen maestra y me unire a su clase.
I have no idea what I said, but I I think I mean that it was ok and I will join her class again 🙂
Highly effective programme with lots of support from Marina. There is an opportunity to study at home with lots of work provided which is regularly checked by the teacher. I have found working with a small group has been beneficial for my learning as you receive more attention and support from the teacher. The five-week programme definitely works for me!
