"¡Hola! My name is David and I'm from Zaragoza, a mid-sized city in North East Spain.
I am a Philosophy graduate from the University of Zaragoza, and I have a SIELE Teacher Course Certificate from Instituto Cervantes.
I spent some years of my apprenticeship in Oxford and Budapest and became a teacher of Spanish as a second language three years ago, first in my hometown and now in London.
In addition to Spanish language and culture, I am passionate about music, cinema, football and literature and I love to connect with my students and make our classes even more in engaging.
See you in class! ¡Nos vemos en clase!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is the final part of our A1 course and prepares students for the Elementary A2.
It’s a 20 hour course aimed at students who have already completed A1 levels 1 and 2. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Another great course with Andi. We are definitely getting better!
Level 2 gave me a lot of new knowledge; it was quite intense and covered quite a few important topics. With teacher’s assistance and with clear points, all could be put into a systematic construction as a good base for building up more knowledge and talking skills. Love the grammar part most of all. Gacias!
I really enjoy the classes because they are very interactive and interesting supporting the student beyond the guide of the book.
Lesson plans well thought out; got to practice all skills with variety of activities. Structured so always interesting and going over the important aspects more than once, in different ways. Understanding of Spanish improved significantly and enjoyed learning past tense.
Very good program, very happy with classes’ format.
Fun and useful. The ‘Cava baja’ comics are very good, as well as the exercise / interactive practices that comes with it.
I have thoroughly enjoyed attending these classes due mostly to the teaching style of Andrea. She is fantastic, enthusiastic and a very warm person who will undoubtedly motivate any student fortunate enough to attend class. It’s been really fun.
Really enjoyed the course. We covered a lot and Enrique and Enric are great teachers. I liked the teaching methods and classroom. Very enjoyable.
Amaya is a great teacher – keeping the classes exciting and engaging every week is a good achievement.
