"¡Hola! My name is David and I'm from Zaragoza, a mid-sized city in North East Spain.
I am a Philosophy graduate from the University of Zaragoza, and I have a SIELE Teacher Course Certificate from Instituto Cervantes.
I spent some years of my apprenticeship in Oxford and Budapest and became a teacher of Spanish as a second language three years ago, first in my hometown and now in London.
In addition to Spanish language and culture, I am passionate about music, cinema, football and literature and I love to connect with my students and make our classes even more in engaging.
See you in class! ¡Nos vemos en clase!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is the final part of our A1 course and prepares students for the Elementary A2.
It’s a 20 hour course aimed at students who have already completed A1 levels 1 and 2. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

I really enjoyed the program and activities as a whole and I have learnt a lot.
It was a good program and I really enjoyed it.
I thought it was engaging and taught in a way that made it easier to learn. I thought that the content was useful and that we learnt a lot over ten weeks. It definitely met my expectations of what I wanted to get out of a course at this level.
It was an enjoyable learning experience with a friendly and fun teacher. Good value for money. Muchas gracias por todo.
I think Aixa was a brilliant teacher, with varied teaching methods. She was very helpful! I really enjoyed her class.
I love the classes and Sara is a great teacher! Looking forward to level 5.
Couldn’t ask for a better teacher that Fiamma. I love her enthusiasm and passion for teaching, it makes learning Spanish really fun.
Vamos is perfect as a school. Great support and style for learning a language for the first time, as an adult with little spare time!
Really enjoyed structure and progression. Very much liked interactive TV screen. I felt that because the exercise books and supportive lesson plans are so good. I enjoyed Maria’s very positive attitude and her explanations were excellent.
The best experience I have had of putting what I have learned to practical usage.
