"Hola! Qué tal? I am Paula from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I have a degree from the University of Barcelona for teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have worked in language institutes and French International Schools in Dubai and Hong Kong and I like my lessons to be interesting, fun and practical!
Learning a new language has to adapt to your needs to communicate, so to me the most important is to get you speaking Spanish from day one. That’s why creating the right atmosphere in class is key for everyone to feel relaxed and willing to participate.
I look forward to having the opportunity to help you learn, not only the language but also some of the culture that comes along.
See you soon at Vamos!!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is the final part of our A1 course and prepares students for the Elementary A2.
It’s a 20 hour course aimed at students who have already completed A1 levels 1 and 2. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

I thought the quality of teaching was exceptional. Patricia does a great job of pacing the classes. She also explains things clearly and is always happy to answer questions.
Maria is an excellent teacher who makes learning fun! The course is well run and it’s very useful to be able to do a catch up class.
I thought the programme was excellent I really like the combination of homework, working in pairs and individually and types of exercises. I thought Vanessa was a superb teacher. A very good course to start my Spanish learning I would recommend the course to anyone.
Really enjoyable, Elena is a great teacher and I am happy with how much I’ve learnt. The classes are really interactive which helps a lot. I feel confident in being able to use what I’ve learned on my trip to Buenos Aires.
The course structure helps make learning Spanish fun. Ruth is a brilliant teacher, always patient and willing to explain things in more details as well as making the class fun and interactive.
I think this is an excellent programme and service, teacher and tapas night are great. Miguel is an awesome teacher.
An excellent and thoroughly enjoyable course and programme as a whole. The additional social activities such as tapas evenings and Spanish film nights make Vamos a particularly interesting place to study.
So pleased with Sara. She is very patient and kind. We have lots of fun in the class which is important when we are learning hard grammar.
Very good, but personally I need to complement the lesson with revision!
