We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is part two of 3 levels that form the A1 starting point to learning Spanish. It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks aimed at students who have completed level 1. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
I enjoyed the programme. It gave me a good introduction to some basic Spanish. Fiamma was a good teacher and the lessons are enjoyable and engaging. It’s also good that the book and other material are included, as this isn’t the case with all language courses.
It was very good, everything explained on really professional and easy to get way.
– Very interactive with a lot of engagement in conversation in class.
– The teacher is very cheerful and encouraging
– A lot of Spanish spoken in class.
Very good. My Spanish is improving every week! Lessons are fun and well-paced.
Me encanta! The course has exceeded my expectations. I look forward to every lesson and Maria is a wonderful teacher: fun, interactive and bit crazy.
Maria is the best teacher, and I like learning Spanish at Vamos.
The course was fun and enjoyable. A lot of laughing and a general great atmosphere. I managed to learn quite a lot in a short space of time. The lessons were also relatively relaxed and there was no pressure on you as with the interactive lessons, you had enough time to practise what you learnt in class. Overall the lessons were fun and very helpful.
I am struggling a little in a classroom environment but feel encouraged to take my time to understand the lesson in question. It’s great that it’s so social here and I love the atmosphere and my teacher Kate is great and very patient.
Really good for me, I’ll be back for level 3 and am sad that I can’t carry on with Maria due to other commitments.
