"¡Hola a todos! I'm Victoria from Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain.
I have a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language, which I obtained at the University of Oviedo. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching obtained at the University of Salamanca.
I have taught Spanish for several years in China, where I worked as an official DELE examiner for A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels at the Cervantes Institute.
I think learning a language is not only about memorising grammar or vocabulary, but enjoying it and having fun while you discover a new world. That's the reason I make communicative and enjoyable classes where students become confident in their skills and share their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Vamos and starting a new adventure together!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course forms part four of the Upper Intermediate B2 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Muy bien. Very enjoyable. Carolina is a very good teacher who made it so enjoyable.
I really enjoyed it. Ruth was a great teacher and I enjoyed the variance of the course.
The delivery of the class is intelligently practised which in turn makes learning practical, useful and enjoyable. Andrea is a very good teacher and I feel any student under her guidance will excel in their learning.
It has been well organised and Alejandro has been very enthusiastic about teaching us Spanish. It is a very good way to learn Spanish and feel confident speaking among a group.
Very good introduction to Spanish.
Andrea is a good teacher and helps break down any possible difficulties. Her teaching methods are innovative and engage the class at all times. The fact that she teaches in Spanish with very little English in class means we are encouraged to learn at a high level.
Excellent introduction to learning Spanish. The exercises and activities built nicely from week to week and the energy and enthusiasm from Paula was inspiring – in such a short time I have learnt a lot. I’ll definitely be continuing to level 2! Thank you Paula 🙂
Excellent course. Exactly what I needed. Strong group and fantastic teacher. Very very happy and going to continue this course with Andrea
Really enjoyed the class, I am planning to take more levels and hoping to become fluent. I think the workbook (activity book) was great, but I couldn’t fully get to grips with the ELE book. Learned a lot of information in 5 weeks; Maria was great at explaining the information and course material.
