"¡Hola! My name is Elena and I come from Seville, the capital of Andalusia, in the south of Spain.
I am a qualified teacher with a Certificate in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from International House and I also have a degree in Dramatic Arts and studies in English Literature and Linguistics.
I love studying languages and learning new aspects of different cultures, and I hope I can help you in getting to know those of Spain. I always try to create a comfortable and creative atmosphere in class, where everyone feels confident and is eager to participate."
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course forms part four of the Upper Intermediate B2 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Elsa is enthusiastic and very patient. She has a great understanding of linguistics and has taught us very well.
I enjoyed the course very much. Andi is a very good teacher. The class was well structured and the method of teaching made the earning fun. I also like that you can catch up classes that you missed. Well done Vamos!
More challenging than A1; Clara spoke faster with additional words previously uncovered, which was excellent practice! My listening skills have improved as a result. I enjoyed having more practice constructing sentences from scratch. The frequent mini-tests really helped me and prompted me to revise what we have covered. The summary posts in the emails are detailed and informative.
Excellent, really look forward to coming to each class! Will definitely be coming back.
A very enjoyable program, taught to a very high standard by an excellent teacher.
Fantastico! Really enjoyed the lessons – they always have a variety of speaking/listening/writing activities. Ruth is a wonderful teacher.
The course was fantastic but was too short! It was a good idea to come here.
Ines has made learning the first stages of Spanish a complete pleasure! The course is very enjoyable whilst challenging. I feel very excited to be continuing onto the next level and learning more of this beautiful language.
I really enjoyed the course it was a very fun experience! I’m sad that I won’t be able to continue level to level 2. The class activities and group work were what I enjoyed the most.
