"¡Hola a todos! I'm Victoria from Gijón, a coastal city in the north of Spain.
I have a degree in Philology and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language, which I obtained at the University of Oviedo. I also have a Master's degree in Teaching obtained at the University of Salamanca.
I have taught Spanish for several years in China, where I worked as an official DELE examiner for A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels at the Cervantes Institute.
I think learning a language is not only about memorising grammar or vocabulary, but enjoying it and having fun while you discover a new world. That's the reason I make communicative and enjoyable classes where students become confident in their skills and share their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Vamos and starting a new adventure together!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course forms part two of the Upper Intermediate B2 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
Coral has a very good way of making the lessons enjoyable and learning fun. After learning Spanish many years ago at school the course gave me a good grounding to get back into learning and speaking Spanish. I would recommend the course.
Very good program, very happy with classes’ format.
The course is well structured, with a variety of activities to make classes fun and enjoyable. Andi is an excellent teacher, and has certainly inspired me to continue.
Overall, I’m very impressed with quality of the teaching. Lessons were varied and fun. I appreciated learning the grammar as well.
Thank you! I’ve really enjoyed the courses. I’m sorry to be leaving. I wish I could continue! Thank you, Mariluz!
No complaints at all!
It has been a great course with a friendly teaching method for an interactive class. I think I needed to learn more vocabulary as I felt the other students knew a lot more than me. Maybe I need a list of vocab before the lesson and after. I did try to study Spanish in Australia but I didn’t go back after the first lesson, but I will be back for level 2. Thank you :))
Great course, as always. Maria is a brilliant teacher and makes every lesson interactive and enjoyable. ¡Gracias!
Andi, our teacher is very good and explains things well. I really like the activity book.
