"¡Hola! My name is also Alba and I come from Valencia!
I hold a degree in Spanish Studies (Universitat de València) and I am currently studying a Master’s degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language at Universitat de Barcelona. I have been teaching Spanish in an immersion context in Valencia for one and half years and I previously taught Spanish in Tallinn (Estonia) as a part of an internship.
I am an enthusiastic and inspiring language teacher who loves sharing her passion about the Spanish language and our culture. Teaching languages is a beautiful job because it works towards building bridges between people and cultures.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing my students getting to know each other through Spanish and gaining the confidence to communicate in the language and learn about Spanish and Latin American culture.
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course forms part one of the Upper Intermediate B2 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

As usual, very enjoyable. Sandra brings a lot of energy and craziness, which makes it a lot of fun. That’s why I keep coming back for more!
Thought the course was fantastic, had good fun and most importantly learnt a lot. Was pushed hard but was worth it and Sandra was a fantastic teacher. Would highly recommend this course.
Weekend in Austurias
Just returned from the weekend Austurias course.
Well planned, enjoyable weekend with structured learning.
Would recommend it.
It gave a very good introduction to Spanish just as I wanted. Teacher was very good in explaining everything and provided excellent notes to use.
Great dedication of Andrea to make sure we practise and learn.
Very good. A good mix of written work and the opportunity to speak. The pace was good. Andrea is an excellent teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed the course.
Diana did a great job explaining things clearly and moving at a good pace. She included a variety of learning materials including songs, flash cards etc. That helped also with listening and speaking practice.
Andrea y Russell, ¡¡¡Muchas gracias!!!
It was very fun and easy to understand. Even after working all day I felt energised when I left the class.
