"¡Hola! I´m Carolina from Madrid, the “heart of Spain” although I was born in Barcelona!
I have a Degree in English Studies, specialising in Language and Literature and I also have a PGCE (CAP Certificate).
After finishing my University studies in Spain I qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK and since then I have been teaching Spanish for more than 12 years.
I really enjoy sharing my knowledge of the language with people from all over the world and I hope you will enjoy my lessons at Vamos!!"

We’re a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course forms part one of the Upper Intermediate B2 syllabus.
It’s a 20 hour course over 10 weeks. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.
I found the course very engaging and a lot of fun. The teaching methods have allowed me to pick up phrases easily and use them with confidence. Really good fun.
So far I’ve really enjoyed the course. It’s been fun and engaging. Cristina is a great teacher and I will definitely be doing level 2!
This was the highlight for every Tuesday/ Thursday. The teaching was fun and enthusiastic, so much so that I missed the England football match! I’ve noticed an improvement in my Spanish which is at a faster pace than anticipated.
It is an excellent programme, which is run at a good pace. Everyone is really friendly in the classes. Both Andi and Carmen were great teachers.
Amaya is a fantastic teacher who brings the course to life in an engaging and fun way. The programme challenges me but is set at the right pace.
Carla is an entertaining, vital and dynamic teacher. Her enthusiasm is infectious and her attention fully directed to all. She has been a pleasure to meet with.
I enjoyed every lesson. There is always so much fun + we learn a lot. Elvira is great and full of energy which makes learning easier.
Really good program and very good classes. I feel my understanding of vocabulary and grammar has really improved. I very much enjoyed the conversation classes and found them very helpful to improve my skills.
Diana is a wonderful, informative teacher who makes learning Spanish so much fun! She has the perfect balance between vocabulary, interactive activities and writing. I particularly enjoyed the role plays as I remember them the most and will use them when in España! Also, I think that a mix of group activity and individual is great and Diana always has time for everyone. Muchas Gracias! 🙂
