"Hola! I`m Alejandro from Huesca, a small town in Aragón, in the north east of Spain.
I studied English language and literature at University of Zaragoza and a Master's degree in teaching foreign languages at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. I also have a certificate in teaching Spanish to adults from Instituto Cervantes.
Teaching languages is my passion. I really enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge of Spanish language and culture to my students. My lessons are based on communicative and gamification methodologies where students can learn having fun.
I hope to see you soon at Vamos!
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This course is part four of the Intermediate B1 syllabus.
It’s a 20-hour course during which you follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Awesome, I love Elvira, she’s fun, kind, patient and a great profesora.
This level is more in-depth but you definitely further your knowledge and speaking skills. Class activities have helped me to be more confident. I think it’s great.
The course was great – I think we are going at just the right pace for this level.
Diana is a wonderful, informative teacher who makes learning Spanish so much fun! She has the perfect balance between vocabulary, interactive activities and writing. I particularly enjoyed the role plays as I remember them the most and will use them when in España! Also, I think that a mix of group activity and individual is great and Diana always has time for everyone. Muchas Gracias! 🙂
Very enjoyable! Diana was great. She was very happy to answer questions and challenge us. I’m sure the class will miss having Diana for level 3! Good mix of writing and speaking. Muchas gracias!
During the past eight months I have really enjoyed studying Spanish in Vamos. Having started from scratch I now feel more confident when speaking in Spanish and have a richer vocabulary and grammar to be able to have a proper conversation when visiting sunny Spain in the summer 🙂
Well-structured and interesting. Lessons helped my understanding of Spanish and the teaching approach was very good. Perhaps the only little thing that could be improved would be to include more topics in the course, this making it a bit more challenging.
I really enjoyed working with Auri and find the “relaxed approach” (emphasized on speaking and not writing) very good and fun. I`ll definitely keep on learning Spanish. I really appreciated how everyone was nice and not too serious but still very efficient! Tapas are delicious and fun nights.
Fun, good teaching and flexible!
