"Hola a todos
My name is Elisabet and I am from Almería, in the sunny southeast coast of Spain.
I have a degree in Spanish Language and Literature at University of Almería and a MA in Teaching Spanish as a foreign language at University of Granada.
I have a passion for teaching and I love learning about different cultures. That's why I have lived in Germany, Netherlands and Romania, whilst teaching Spanish to adults, children and teenagers. My main goal is to make students feel comfortable in their learning process and to adapt to each student’s needs.
I look forward to sharing the Spanish culture with you and showing you how wonderful and easy it is to learn Spanish!
See you soon! ¡Hasta pronto!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is part one of 3 levels that form the A1 starting point to learning Spanish.
It’s a 20 hour course. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Andi is a great teacher with friendly attitude.
Fiamma is a great teacher. Her lessons are always well organised and she is very outgoing, helpful and friendly. I like the book and activity book. If I wanted to improve something then it would be more emphasis on pronunciation and also more games. I liked the ones during the final revising lesson.
Tatiana created a warm environment and made learning Spanish accessible when I have previously found languages to be really hard. The activities and workbook aided the in-class work and I found the homework to be really helpful. Personally, I wish I could have been available for the conversation classes, as I think this would have been helpful.
Really feeling like it is sinking in! Carmen is a great teacher who keeps everyone up to the same level and is very encouraging.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Maria is brilliant, so glad I am continuing on.
Very well organised and teaching methods are excellent; lots of variety in terms of activities. All aspects – listening, speaking, reading and writing were tested. Useful to go over the previous week´s lesson at the beginning of the next class. Has given me confidence for my holiday in Spain!
I really enjoyed this course. The teacher was really good and I’ve learnt a lot during these three months!
The programme is great. Amaya is fantastic. She is a brilliant teacher and super fun. I am definitely going to enrol in to level 3 with Amaya. Looking forward to it!
Very well taught and well structured. Teachers were friendly and helpful!
