"Hola! Qué tal? I am Paula from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I have a degree from the University of Barcelona for teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have worked in language institutes and French International Schools in Dubai and Hong Kong and I like my lessons to be interesting, fun and practical!
Learning a new language has to adapt to your needs to communicate, so to me the most important is to get you speaking Spanish from day one. That’s why creating the right atmosphere in class is key for everyone to feel relaxed and willing to participate.
I look forward to having the opportunity to help you learn, not only the language but also some of the culture that comes along.
See you soon at Vamos!!"
We're a little different from other language schools. Our roots lie in the Spanish further education sector and here at Holborn our students have as much fun learning as we have teaching. That’s why our courses are so effective and why our students say our lessons are rewarding and so much fun.
This is part one of 3 levels that form the A1 starting point to learning Spanish.
It’s a 20 hour course. You will follow an established model of teaching through spoken and written activities, extra reading, tests, reviews, ideas, and games in pairs or groups.
We use powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and audio tapes that stimulate our lessons and encourage students to engage with each other in developing the four essential skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing.

Had only two classes but I have a very good impression. Learning in small groups where the level is similar help. Clara explains very well. Looking forward to the next classes.
I like Cristina’s teaching and Vamos web page too and all activities for us. THANK YOU!
I like your course program. That’s even more than I expected to get. I have been studying for almost a year and now I feel completely different in Spain, able to talk and understand what people say. I will continue to study with pleasure.
Many thanks to Carla!
I really enjoyed the programme. Both Noelia and Andrea were great teachers! I enjoyed the interactive element to the course as it increased my confidence with speaking Spanish. I would love to continue to level 2 but alas I leave for South America next week!
Thoroughly enjoying. Plenty of time was dedicated to speaking in Spanish about your life (what you did on the weekend, what countries you have travelled to etc). This allowed you to learn words and phrases that were relevant to what you would discuss in real life.
Very good. Very enjoyable. Clara is a great teacher who is keen to help.
Level 3 has been a great course. I have learnt a lot of new information in the five-week course. I do prefer the five-week course as it feels as though I have progressed quickly in learning Spanish. The teaching style is great, easy to follow and a lot of fun.
Style of teaching is really enjoyable and the mixture of listening, conversations and games has really helped me to learn. The addition of the free conversation class and tapas is a nice added touch.
Finally the flexibility of classes if you cannot make one is really good.
Muy bueno! I learnt a lot from the course. I really enjoyed the content + delivery + organisation of the classes was excellent. Carmen is a great teacher. She is very attentive, she cares and her passion to teach really shone through. Thank you.
