“Hi! I’m Clara from Barcelona, Spain.
I have a Degree in Pedagogy and a Certificate in the Teaching of Spanish to Adults, both of which have enabled me to appreciate the different methods of teaching and learning processes. As a pedagogue, I like students to learn through the communicative method and this is the philosophy at Vamos.
I love the way that Vamos uses powerful learning tools such as presentations, images, videos and tapes that encourage students to engage with the lesson and with each other in developing the four key skills – reading, speaking, listening and writing. And it’s great to work with a team of teachers. It means we get to design our lessons together as well as discuss the different things in the classroom.
We always do a communicative practice in class that permits students to see the results of the previous lesson and I love when students start to discover and reason and especially when they use what they´ve learnt to communicate with each other at our social events.”
“Hola, I’m Noelia from Galicia, in the north west of Spain.
I am a qualified Spanish teacher at Vamos and my Spanish teaching diploma, CAP (Certificado de Adaptación Pedagógica) and CLTA (Certified Language Teacher for Adults) have given me the knowledge and practical skills to create multi level lessons and to manage groups as well as individual students at various learning stages.
I have 12 years professional experience during which time I have enjoyed working with a diverse group of people with different backgrounds and goals. As a Vamos Spanish teacher I love drawing on my experience in helping my students get the most from my lessons. And I love the fact that our lessons go beyond the classroom. That on its own is unique and our students love it too. We learn together and laugh together and then we eat together!
My experience has shown me there’s no place like home and that’s what I found at Vamos.”
Adela Gomez
¡Hola! I´m Adela from the Canary Islands.
I graduated in Translation and Interpreting studies, but I´ve been teaching since then. After my degree I got a certificate in teaching foreign languages for secondary schools at the University Complutense in Madrid. I love languages and I enjoy learning them as well. I have many years experience teaching Spanish to Adults in Germany and since moving to London in the summer I obtained a certificate in Teaching Languages for Adults from the Instituto Cervantes and a PTLLS award.
One of the best things of teaching my mother language is to observe how students improve and become fluent in a natural way. Through our communicative approach, students learn Spanish by socialising, enjoying the lessons and having fun.
At ¡Vamos! we combine the most innovative teaching approaches with the latest technology, so students get the best experience and come with a smile to the lessons!
¡Hola! I’m Marina from Seville, Spain
I studied at the university Humanities in Seville and have always focused my specialisation in teaching Spanish. I attended many different courses relating to education and I have a Postgraduate Master in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and a Spanish Teaching diploma for Secondary School.
I have taught in many different contexts and it’s always been a very gratifying experience. I really enjoy teaching and I’m always very enthusiastic about it. I love having fun during the lessons and my main goal is make my students learn in a simple and easy way, just having a good time and relaxing! I always try to adapt to my students’ needs in order to make them learn as much as possible without stress. In our lessons we talk as much as possible and have a lot of practise as I want my students to learn the real and useful Spanish.
For me, learning must be a pleasant thing to do, above all when you’re an adult!! Vamos! is the right place to study Spanish with a very practical approach having a good time and enjoying a great environment!

¡Hola! I am Roberto from the Canaries.
After completing my university studies in the islands I was driven by a hunger for travel and knowledge of different cultures and getting involved in them as much as possible – a similar feeling to the many students I teach.
And after five years of teaching Spanish in London, I get the same cultural exchange from my students during lessons.
Since starting this amazing journey of teaching and learning I hope my role at ¡Vamos! will make your journey as enjoyable as mine.
Mábel Rodriguez
¡Hola! I’m Mábel from Barcelona.
I have a BA in Philosophy from Universidad de Barcelona with an Erasmus interchange in Lisbon. I’m also a qualified Spanish teacher with a Certificate in Methodology of Spanish as a Foreign Language.
As a student studying a foreign language, I enjoy communicating with people from all over the world, learning about their cultures and ways of thinking and above all making new friendships.
I am very pleased to be the Facebook teacher at Vamos, helping and supporting students with any challenges they encounter while learning Spanish. I will also be posting cultural facts, curious facts, interesting links, social events… related to the Hispanic culture, so you can have a surrounding experience in your Spanish immersion.
